Almanac of Lost Places
A downloadable weird catalogue
A mountain coveted by rival kingdoms. A city where information is not a synonym of truth. The ruins of a civilisation far from being abandoned. A valley bending reality to protect itself from exploitation.
At least that's how I envisioned these maps. But there is lot of information missing, and it's up to you to fill in the blanks and pique the players' curiosity. Or maybe don't and create a sense of mystery. These four maps are meant to spark imagination and guide you towards great adventures.
There are no stats or setting associated with these maps but they would probably fit a game Troika!, UltraViolet Grasslands or Mothership.
This project was made for the Weird Satellite Jam.

great font choice + maps, also drain staircase let’s goo
Thanks a lot!
I love this. Did you get the description straight from the bot, or did you adapt them? They feel too perfect.
Am amazed by how much you get across the page with very little!
Thanks so much Philip! I only took the name of the areas from the bot and came up with everything else! I didn't have to edit them in any way, only group them in something that would make sense.
That means a lot, thanks! I tried to walk the line between a clear framework of adventure without developing a strict lore so I'm very glad you like it :)
Wow, perfect.
I just felt the names fitted so well together, so you definitely did a great job "bundling" them and then expanding on it.
Much appreciated Philip!
Love this, Jean! I feel like these could work for a game like Lancer, too.
Thanks James! I hadn't thought of Lancer, I haven't read or played Lancer but I guess now I should take a look
If you're into mechs and LOTS of lore and crunchy, modular combat mechanics, it's a real winner.
